Never underestimate how much storage you would need in the future; especially when your children religiously follow cartoons and love to collect action figures and toys.
Recycle old junk shop finds and modify them through painting to fit toys and materials. If the room is tight then go for a piece of unit that accommodates a high bed near the ceilings reached upon by a series of ladder.

However remember to keep it within his reach because it’ll be useless if it isn’t. Gliding drawers fitted below your kid’s beds could be a place to keep old toys for him to see whenever he wants to preventing his parents throwing them away because of less space.
If there is a free wall space left in your kid’s room, then don’t forget to accessorize it with a single storage unit and then lightly decorate the rest of the room. Large boxes could easily hold every size of toy.
